Description
Occupational Therapist, full-time, daytime. Permanent position. Access by arrangement.
Job duties
As an occupational therapist in Överkalix Municipality, you are part of the medical team consisting of licensed personnel - nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and assistant nurses.
The occupational therapist's area of responsibility includes open health care in the home and the municipality's special housing, in group and service housing as well as daily activities within LSS.
We are looking for an occupational therapist who has an interest and commitment to working with rehabilitation and performing health and medical care interventions for people within the municipality's area of responsibility.
As an occupational therapist, you work with supervising and supporting individuals, relatives and staff in rehabilitation issues. You initiate treatment and training that develops, regains and maintains the individual's functional ability. You are responsible for testing and prescribing technical aids, assessments for, among other things, housing adaptations and for the activities of the social care committee when necessary.
Qualifications
Licensed occupational therapist.
Experience working in municipal operations is an advantage. You must have good teamwork skills and be flexible. You must be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and decisions. We document in the Pulsen Combine business system.
Coordinated planning takes place in Lifecare SP. You work with risk assessments via the Senior Alert quality register.
Requirement to be able to express the Swedish language well in both speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
